With Edit Scores by Student, you can manually enter a grade value for WebTests and Other Assignments or adjust a Lesson submission date to re-calculate the score on a student-by-student basis.

Follow these steps to edit scores by student in your Hawkes course.

2. Choose your section and student name from the dropdowns.

3. Manually edit the student's score or perform different actions based on the assignment type.

    • Lesson: These are lesson scores that can be manually entered or edited by using the "Submitted Date" column.
    • Assessment: These are WebTests, and scores can be entered or edited using the "Points Earned" or "Score (%)" columns.
    • Other Assignment: These are placeholder assignments, and scores can be entered or edited using the "Points Earned" or "Score (%)" columns.

Additional Options and Features

Assessments and Other Assignments offer additional options that can be used to manage the assignments.

Assessments

    • Resume: This action will allow a student's previously submitted attempt to be re-opened to continue working with answers they've already entered. Choosing "Resume" also allows you to enter any additional assignment time to the student.
    • Submit: This action, which can only be performed when the student has an in-progress attempt, will force submit the student's assignment attempt.
    • Reset: This action will clear the entered grade and mark the assignment as Not Graded. Resetting the score will permanently delete the score and assignment review.

Other Assignments

    • Reset: This action will clear the entered grade and mark the assignment as Not Graded.
