For the initial release, you can toggle to the new navigation view or back to the classic view.
How to Enable
1. Log in to your Instructor Teach Account.
2. In your Instructor Dashboard, select Try New Navigation located in the top toolbar.
3. The page will refresh with the new left-side navigation.
4. To return to classic view, select Return to Classic Navigation located in the top toolbar.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. How do I get to Student View while in the new navigation view?
- Click on HawkesTeach to reveal a dropdown that allows you to switch between Instructor and Student Views.
2. If I switch to the new navigation, will the new navigation still be enabled the next time I log in?
- Yes! The setting will be remembered every time you log in. This also means that if you switch back to the classic navigation, that setting will be remembered too.
3. How long will Instructors be able to choose which navigation they want to use?
- We're offering instructors an extended period to experience the new navigation at their own pace. By May 2025, all instructors will permanently transition to the new navigation experience.
