Using Canvas Single Sign On

Single Sign On (SSO) is a link to Hawkes embedded directly within your Canvas course. After clicking the link, your Hawkes account is automatically created and you're enrolled in your course.

Single Sign On does not work on phones or tablets. Please use a computer and recommended browsers Chrome or Firefox.

Instructions:

1. Log into Canvas and enter your Course.

2. Click on the Hawkes Learning Single Sign On link normally located under Modules or in the left-side course navigation.

Permanent Course Access

If you course is under Inclusive Access, you'll receive permanent access to your Hawkes course once Single Sign On is used.

Temporary Course Access - Activating your Course

If you received temporary access to your course in Hawkes after using Single Sign On, follow these steps to activate your course.

1. Once logged into Hawkes, click the Activate button.

2. Choose one of the following:

• If you have purchased a License Number from your school bookstore, enter it and select Activate Now.
• If you need to purchase directly from Hawkes Learning, select Purchase Online.

Logging Directly into Hawkes

This option can be used if you no longer have access to your LMS course or if you're unable to access your school's LMS.

1. Go to https://learn.hawkeslearning.com.

2. Select Forgot Password?.

3. Enter your school email address and click Submit.

4. Use the Password Reset email sent to your email to reset your account password and log directly into Hawkes.
