If you are receiving a message about your Internet connection being lost or interrupted while working in the Hawkes web platform, there are several steps you can take:

  • Wait to see if the connection is re-established
  • Move to a different location and/or connect to a different network
  • Connect to an Ethernet cable
  • Contact your Internet Service Provider

You may notice that you receive this message continually in the Hawkes web platform while other websites appear to be functioning normally. This is because the Hawkes site requires a more stable connection than most sites to ensure that your answers are always saved. When running a speed test, items such as jitter and packet loss can help determine the stability of your connection.

Please note that you will not lose any completed work in Certify or a WebTest due to a loss of Internet connection.
