ProctorU

If your institution or department currently uses ProctorU, simply contact your ProctorU representative and have them add Hawkes to their LMS environment to be supported.* If your institution does NOT have this proctoring solution available, please contact us for assistance.

*If you are using ProctorU Auto with Blackboard, see these instructions.

Proctorio

1.    Link your Learning Management System course to a Hawkes section
2.    Create a quiz within your LMS
3.    Add one question to the LMS quiz that contains a Single Sign On or direct link to the Hawkes web platform

  • The linked question can be as simple as ???TRUE or FALSE: I completed my Hawkes Exam???
  • Make sure that the Hawkes web platform opens in a new tab. If there is a setting for this, ensure that it is enabled.
  • NOTE: Some LMS platforms allow you to create a question that does not require an answer

Proctoring is ready at this point. Everything will submit properly as long as the student submits the LMS test.

ProctorFree

1.    Link your Learning Management System course to a Hawkes section
2.    Create a quiz within your LMS
3.    Add one question to the LMS quiz that contains a Single Sign On or direct link to the Hawkes web platform

  • The linked question can be as simple as ???TRUE or FALSE: I completed my Hawkes Exam???

BioSig-ID/BioSight-ID

1.    Create a WebTest in Hawkes
2.    Link your Hawkes section to your LMS course, and create a Single Sign On link or direct assignment links
3.    Create a quiz within your LMS
4.    Add one question to the LMS quiz that contains a SSO or direct assignment link to the Hawkes courseware

  • Enter the following as your question text:

1. Access the test in Hawkes using the following link: [Insert Hawkes SSO or direct assignment link]
2. Navigate to your To Do List to take the [Insert WebTest name] test in Hawkes
3. Complete and submit your test in Hawkes
4. Close the Hawkes tab to return to the [Insert LMS name] tab
5. Answer this question and submit to finish

5.    Finish creating your LMS quiz and enable BioSig-ID, BioSight-ID, etc
6.    Proctoring is ready at this point, and everything will submit properly as long as the student submits the LMS test.

Zoom (Free!)

1.    Schedule a meeting in Zoom.
2.    Have students join the meeting via provided meeting link
3.    Once the Zoom meeting is live, select the Share Screen option at the bottom of the meeting window
4.    From the drop-down menu, select Multiple participants can share simultaneously

  • Ensure that under Advanced Options, all participants can share their screen at all times, not just the host.

5.     Have all students share their screen and begin proctoring
