If you are unable to enter fractions, exponents or other symbols in the web platform, please make sure that the problem does in fact require a fraction, exponent, or other symbol in the answer. If you are still experiencing this issue, please view the following helpful tips:
1. Use the Practice mode so you can learn the expected format for your answers.
2. Avoid adding spaces to your answer.
3. Avoid using the mouse to move the cursor in the answer box, as you may inadvertently add a space to your answer.
4. You can only raise a variable to an exponent.
