On the Lessons, WebTests and Other tabs, there are two drop-down menus that allow you to sort and filter items in your course.
To filter items out that are not due within a certain time period, select the drop-down menu that says Show All. Then select the due date time range for the assignments you'd like to be displayed.
To sort by name, select the drop-down menu that says Sort by Status, and select Name.
